Speak Spanish & connect with others in a structured & supportive community.

Hola, soy Elisabeth, I am so glad you're here.

Hola, soy Elisabeth, but I love being called Eli (pronounced Eh-lee)

I have a deep appreciation and love of Spanish speaking cultures, with the small and big differences each country has to offer.
I started teaching Spanish when I came from Buenos Aires, Argentina to the U.S. for college, where I now live. As I began to teach my language, I became enamored with it. I learned, with eagerness, everything I could about how the language works, and I passed this on to my eager students.
I took my love of Spanish language instruction to the next level and earned my Masters in Teaching and spent the following three years teaching at a Spanish immersion public school.
Now with over fifteen years of teaching experience, I offer small group classes and courses to connect more people to Spanish. As a language learner myself, I love creating materials and updating each lesson to help my students learn best.
I absolutely love working with my students; they are hardworking committed individuals who want to expand their horizons and become connected to other cultures and possibilities.

Working closely with David and I, you'll learn Spanish in an encouraging and supportive environment that helps you make sense of the language and gain confidence speaking it with others and connecting with Spanish speakers.

¡Hola, soy David!

I’m from Costa Rica, and I started learning English when I was really young, which started my whole passion for languages. The more I learned, the more fascinated I became with grammar, culture, and how languages help people connect. That curiosity even made me look at my own language, Spanish, in a whole new way, and I realized how much I enjoyed studying it, and eventually teaching it.
I’ve been teaching Spanish since 2019. In that time, I’ve worked with students from all over the world, ages and backgrounds. I also spent a lot of time traveling around Latin America to understand the cultural and linguistic differences in the region, which shaped how I teach today. I’m currently living in Buenos Aires, which has given me even more perspective on language and culture.
I speak Spanish, English, and Portuguese, and I’m definitely a conversationalist. I really believe that the best thing about learning a language is the human connection behind it.
Outside of languages, I’m into pretty much anything creative: theater, acting, dancing, singing, drawing, music, you name it. I’m also the kind of person who loves learning about cultures, history, and basically anything that sparks my curiosity. Creativity and curiosity are a big part of who I am, and they naturally come out in the way I talk and connect with people.
